Responsible Gambling

Gambling is entertainment. If it stops being fun, stop.

Our Position

ViceBlitz exists to help people make informed decisions about crypto gambling platforms. We provide data-driven analysis so you can identify which platforms are safe and which are not. But safe platforms do not eliminate the risk of problem gambling — they only ensure that the platform itself operates fairly.

Gambling involves risk. The house has an edge. Over time, the expected outcome for a recreational gambler is a net loss. If you gamble, do so with money you can afford to lose completely, and treat it as the cost of entertainment — not an investment.

Warning Signs

Problem gambling can develop gradually. Consider whether any of the following apply to you:

Spending more money or time gambling than you originally intended

Chasing losses by increasing bets or making impulsive deposits

Gambling with money allocated for essential expenses

Borrowing money or selling assets to fund gambling

Feeling anxious, irritable, or restless when not gambling

Lying to friends or family about gambling activity or losses

Neglecting work, relationships, or health because of gambling

Using gambling to escape stress, anxiety, or emotional pain

Feeling unable to stop despite wanting to

If any of these resonate, please reach out to one of the support organisations listed below. These services are free, confidential, and staffed by people who understand what you're going through.

Practical Steps

If you choose to gamble, these practices can help you maintain control:

Set a budget before you start. Decide the maximum amount you're willing to lose per session, week, or month — and stop when you reach it.

Set a time limit. Decide how long you'll play before you start. Use a timer.

Never chase losses. If you've lost your budget, stop. Increasing bets to recover losses is the most common path to problem gambling.

Use platform deposit limits. Most reputable platforms offer daily, weekly, and monthly deposit limits. Set them. They exist to protect you.

Don't gamble under the influence. Alcohol and drugs impair decision-making. Gambling while impaired dramatically increases the risk of losses you wouldn't normally accept.

Take regular breaks. Step away from the screen. Extended sessions erode discipline.

A Note on Crypto Gambling

Crypto gambling introduces specific risks that traditional gambling does not. Cryptocurrency deposits are often instant and irreversible. Many crypto platforms operate without self-exclusion schemes like GamStop. The 24/7 availability and pseudonymous nature of crypto gambling can make it easier to lose track of spending.

ViceBlitz evaluates platforms partly on their responsible gambling provisions — including deposit limits, self-exclusion options, reality checks, and cooling-off periods. Platforms that lack these tools score lower in our Safety Score methodology.

Gambling is an adult activity. You must be 18 years or older (or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction) to use any platform reviewed on this site. See our 18+ Policy.
