Key Evidence

$123 Million Crypto Seizure

In May 2025, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv authorized the transfer of seized cryptocurrency assets to Ukraine's National Agency for Investigation and Asset Management (ARMA). The investigation concerns an individual associated with Bull Gaming N.V. — the entity that operates Rollbit.com.

The seized assets — totalling over $123 million in BTC, ETH, LTC, SOL, and other cryptocurrencies — were stored in Binance accounts and linked to an alleged illegal gambling and money laundering scheme. Bull Gaming N.V. confirmed in writing to Ukraine's Cyber Police that the funds belonged to them.

No criminal charges have been filed against Rollbit directly. The individual in question claims he registered the Binance account in 2018 and subsequently gave access to an unknown third party. The funds have been recognized as material evidence in criminal proceedings.

Licensing History

Rollbit's licensing has been a recurring concern. In March 2023, licence information was removed from the Rollbit website. The platform claimed this was part of a routine "annual renewal" — but industry sources noted that Curaçao sub-licences are valid indefinitely as long as the master licence remains active, contradicting the renewal explanation.

The previous sub-licence (365/JAZ) was through Gaming Curaçao, which ceased operations in August 2024. A new application (OGL/2024/1260/0494) is pending with the Curaçao Gaming Control Board under Bull Gaming N.V.

Separately, a UK-facing version of Rollbit operates under a white-label partnership with Grace Media (UKGC licence #57869). This was reportedly required for the Southampton FC Premier League sponsorship deal.

Operator Background

Multiple independent review sources note that Rollbit's founders "previously operated a gaming casino that closed after its unethical practices were discovered." This is publicly documented and not disputed by the platform.

In March 2025, a US federal court denied Bull Gaming N.V.'s request for discovery against Kraken (the crypto exchange) in a case involving a player whose account was frozen after alleged terms violations. The player had been using the username "Stake Stinks" — the account freezing and legal pursuit raise questions about proportionality in player disputes.

What Rollbit Does Well

Rollbit offers provably fair original games with auditable server/client seed verification. The sportsbook (powered by BETBY) covers 20+ sports with live betting. The platform has over 4,000 casino games from 50+ providers and a unique NFT ecosystem (Rollbots, Sportsbots) that integrates with platform rewards. The RLB token and rakeback structure provide value to active users. These product features exist alongside — but do not mitigate — the safety concerns documented above.

ViceBlitz Analysis

Rollbit scores 15/100 — the lowest of any platform in our initial assessment batch. Unlike BC.Game (where the raw score was decent but capped by AGD status) or Roobet (where the raw score was capped by confiscation patterns), Rollbit's raw score is genuinely low across nearly every category.

The $123M seizure is the headline, but the licensing history is arguably more concerning for individual players. A platform that removes its licence information from its website, provides an explanation that contradicts how Curaçao licensing works, and is currently operating on a pending application — that's a platform where player recourse mechanisms are fundamentally uncertain.

The founders' track record compounds the concern. A previous venture that closed due to unethical practices is exactly the kind of operational history that a Safety Score methodology is designed to surface. Past behavior is the strongest predictor of future behavior in the gambling industry.

Rollbit's high-profile sponsorships (SSC Napoli, Southampton FC, FaZe Clan) and $5 billion+ in lifetime wagers demonstrate commercial success. Commercial success and player safety are not the same metric.
